About the Role


Social Entrepreneurs Ireland are seeking a Major Gifts Manager who is curious, ambitious and comfortable in a growing and learning environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social entrepreneurship as a way of delivering accelerated social change and keen to be part of building something amazing as part of a team.


Reporting into the Director of Development this role will lead the fundraising activity across Individual Giving which is a major source of SEI fundraising, accounting for half of SEI’s income last year from individuals across Ireland, the UK and USA. You will be responsible for managing and growing this community of individual supporters to generate income while delivering an exceptional donor experience. You will help in the development of SEI’s philanthropy strategy and ensure effective stewardship of many of SEI’s existing individual relationships.  


The successful candidate for this role will be an ambitious and target driven fundraiser with outstanding written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with supporters and colleagues.


This is a varied and engaging role that requires someone with a good balance of creativity, ambition and strong organisational skills. If you’re an experienced fundraiser with energy, ambition and have superb client-facing communication skills and you are looking to be a key part of an ambitious development team with opportunities for career growth then this could be the role for you!
