Salary: €35,000 - €38,000 annual salary D.O.E.

Cystic Fibrosis Ireland (CFI) is one of Ireland’s first and most well-known patient advocate and lobby groups. It was set up by parents in 1963 to improve the treatment and facilities for people with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland. CFI also co-operates with medical professionals to give maximum assistance to both parents and children/adults with Cystic Fibrosis. THE ROLE:
The Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator will be responsible for creating and implementing digital marketing plans for the Fundraising Team, seeking to maximise the recruitment for and return from major fundraising events and campaigns, promoting them across all relevant channels. In addition to creating content for all digital marketing activity, including banners and posters, you will gather testimonials and stories from past supporters and CFI ambassadors. You will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the data in the CRM database in compliance with GDPR guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will have at least 3 years’ previous experience working in digital marketing, ideally in the charity sector, and a proven track record in meeting targets. You will have a solid understanding of how social media works, have a creative flair for writing, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of audiences.
• Develop and issue inspiring communication to recruit participants for fundraising events and campaigns • Secure and develop content with the fundraising team, part participants in events, reviewing past communications and promotion of events and related communications within the charity sector • Update and implement digital marketing plans for key fundraising events and campaigns • Support development of opportunities to raise income via digital marketing across all related fundraising platforms e.g. Just Giving, iDonate / text donate / tap to donate / online giving etc. • Create relevant and inspiring messaging to maximise participation in events and campaigns on social media / e-zines / website / printed materials etc. • Manage and update fundraising content for CFI website • Create relevant content to help in the continued development of legacy giving • Take on the role of product champion within fundraising for the CFI relational database (Salesforce) ensuring best practice is use of same within GDPR guidelines
