Full Description

LOCATION: Dublin 2

SALARY: €23,000 pro rata for 3 days per week

BACKGROUND:

O’Kennedy Consulting was set up in 2002 in response to an ever-increasing need in the Irish not-for-profit sector for fundraising and communications guidance. We have advised organisations throughout Ireland and the UK, whilst our strategic partnerships reach across Europe, the US and beyond.

At O’Kennedy Consulting we create strategies and devise plans tailored to our clients’ specific needs. Through this process, we maximise the organisation’s effectiveness and deliver long-term impact and sustainability for not-for-profits and donors alike.

Whether the organisation be a charity, a social enterprise, a company or an individual, we work closely with each to understand their specific requirements and design and implement donor engagement and philanthropy solutions that are right for their needs.

We are now seeking a diligent, organised and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our team.

THE ROLE:

The Office Administrator will focus on providing excellent administrative support to our team and the delivery of the services that we provide to our not-for-profit clients. Reporting to the Client Support & Operations Manager, they will undertake general administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the team has adequate support to work efficiently.

The successful candidate will work across a number of projects, therefore flexibility, excellent time-management skills and a pro-active approach to client engagement are essential. You will be a self-starter and comfortable working independently.

This role is ideally suited to a recent graduate (with at least 12 months’ admin experience) or someone with experience in an office administration role. Knowledge of the not-for-profit sector and experience of charitable fundraising would be a significant advantage but is not essential.

This is part-time role worked over three days – there may be some flexibility as to how the hours are worked, but Friday must be a full day.

If you’re an organised and flexible professional with the ability to work within a fast-paced, timeline driven organisation, we’d love to hear from you!
