Partnership Development ManagerJob Ref: Coeliac Society
Type: Full time, permanent
Salary: €35,000 - €40,000
Closing Date: 5pm on Monday, 21st August 2017
The Coeliac Society of Ireland is a registered charity that provides information and support to people diagnosed with coeliac disease throughout Ireland. It is a member-based organisation that creates awareness of coeliac disease, its symptoms and how to live healthy on a gluten-free diet. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for people with coeliac disease and others who benefit from a gluten-free diet for medical reasons. The Society has an active membership of over 4,800, of all ages, from all over Ireland and are seeking to significantly grow this number in the near future.
The Partnership Development Manager is a pivotal role within the Coeliac Society, working with all the core teams (Membership Services, Marketing & Communications and Food Management) as well as managing its own areas. The Society relies on partnerships with external stakeholders (e.g. retailers and manufacturers of gluten free foods, catering and foodservices organisations and those dealing with the medical community) to fund a large portion of its work.
Working as part of a small, busy and integrated team, the Partnership Development Manager is effectively a combination of Fundraiser and Business Developer, with responsibility for increasing funding for the charity through appropriate relationships with those interested in supporting its work. This is an extremely proactive role; the successful candidate will be expected to actively seek new opportunities in the external marketplace and to contribute to all internal development activity to enhance the offering to existing and potential funders.
