Una Deasy appointed CEO of the Crann Centre
15 October 2026

CCI Executive Search is delighted to congratulate Una Deasy on her appointment as CEO of the Crann Centre. We were pleased to support Crann with the recruitment of this important leadership role.

Una brings extensive leadership experience in the non-profit sector and a strong commitment to Crann’s work supporting children, adults and families living with neuro-physical disabilities and those requiring neuro-rehabilitation. She succeeds Padraig Mallon, who will retire following eight years of dedicated service to the organisation.

Kate Jarvey, Crann’s Founder & Board Chair, said, “I am very pleased to welcome Una to the organisation. After an extensive search, the Board appointed Una with the knowledge and confidence that her experience leading charitable organisations combined with the insight and energy she brings to the role will ensure the continued success of the Crann Centre”.

As demand for Crann’s services continues to grow, Una will lead the organisation’s ongoing development, with a focus on ensuring its sustainability and maintaining its renowned whole-family approach. Padraig will work closely with Una until the end of the year to support a smooth transition.

Commenting on her appointment, Una said,
“I am very grateful to Kate and the Board for this opportunity to lead the Crann Centre. I am honoured to continue the work Padraig has begun and work alongside an incredible team in service to our current and future clients. I will dedicate my efforts to keeping our clients, their families and carers at the centre of everything Crann does, meeting the growing demand we are experiencing and achieving the funding required to maintain Crann’s renowned whole-family services.”

We wish Una and the team every success for the future. We also warmly congratulate Padraig on his contribution to Crann over the past eight years and wish him a very happy and well-earned retirement.
