Salary:  €50,000 - €58,715 per annum

Employment: Full-time, 39 hours per week. Currently, the benefit of working a Four-Day Week (32 hours) applies.

Contract: Initial 3-year fixed-term contract.

Location: Remote (Ireland) with a requirement to attend the spunout office (Dublin 2) for meetings/training as required

spunout is Ireland’s youth information and support platform, working towards an Ireland where all young people are supported and empowered to thrive.  The charity offers a range of accessible and free services that are there for young people whenever they need them. Partnerships are key to the work of spunout and so the organisation is now seeking an experienced and engaging Strategic Partnerships Manager to join their collaborative and supportive team.

 

About the role 

Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for initiating, developing, and managing partnerships that support spunout’s strategic goals.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for:

• Acting as the liaison between spunout and partner organisations, coordinating efforts to achieve shared objectives and outcomes 
• Identifying potential new partners whilst facilitating the generation of new project ideas with existing partners.
• Monitoring the progress of partner collaborations, reporting on progress whilst maintaining effective internal and external communications.
• Tracking partnership budgets and supporting the reporting of project spend. 

To succeed in this position, you will have:

• A proven track record in initiating, developing and managing successful and impactful partnerships.
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, including public speaking.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data for informed decision making.
• Excellent soft skills including empathy, good listening skills and adaptability.
• The ability to manage relationships with multiple partners and the detailed workload that accompanies this, with the capacity to prioritise and balance conflicting demands.
• Experience in business development, partnership/relationship management and/or project management (ideally in the Community & Voluntary sector).
• A relevant post-secondary qualification or equivalent experience.
