About the Role
Age Action Ireland is now seeking a Digital Fundraising and Communications Officer to join their committed and passionate team.
This is a new role for Age Action, which presents and exciting opportunity for a candidate with high levels of experience in digital engagement and social media management to play a major role in shaping the digital future of Age Action.
This is a varied role involving interactions across a range of functions. Key duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Developing and implementing a digital fundraising plan and a calendar of events for the year ahead
• Developing and rolling-out digital communications plans to support Age Action’s fundraising objectives, including campaign support and awareness activities.
• Managing social media across multiple channels, including content development, scheduling, advertising and fundraising.
• Building meaningful relationships with our supporters, clients, their families, carers and Age Action’s network of stakeholders in order to create stories to effectively and respectfully communicate our impact online
• Working with third-party suppliers and contractors including agencies, photographers, videographers etc.
If you’re an experienced, dynamic digital marketer / fundraiser with high levels of initiative, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to deliver a strong digital fundraising and communications strategy for a leading national charity, we’d love to hear from you!
