Salary:   €60,000 - €65,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Type:  Full-time (35 hours) per week, permanent. (Part-time, 28 hours per week pro rata, may be considered.) 

Location: Dublin 2 with hybrid working options

About the Role

DCVC is seeking a new Centre Manager to lead the organisation and deliver a strategy and a vision that ensures: “People in Dublin City are empowered to connect with and contribute to an inclusive, vibrant, and sustainable society through volunteering.”  

As the most senior member of staff, the successful candidate will work closely with the Board and Management to: 

• Lead on strategy and oversee the delivery of high-quality services for the organisation,
• Create an inspiring, positive, and collaborative culture and work environment for staff, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders,
• Ensure good governance, risk management and the financial stability and sustainability of DCVC, and
• Promote the value and profile of volunteering and, in doing so, secure resources and opportunities for DCVC in the future.

To be successful in this role you will bring experience in a leadership position, intellectual curiosity, sound financial acumen and excellent people management skills.

A skilled communicator, you will be facilitative and collaborative with the ability to inspire and motivate a talented and loyal team whilst developing external relationships and partnerships of value.
